Ready To Throw Out Your Refrigerator?

Came across an interesting fact today that may make you change your mind about whether you can really afford to buy new Energy Star rated appliances.

Refrigerators qualified under the new Energy Star guidelines use less energy than a 75-watt light bulb left on full time. That's a lot of energy savings, $92 million a year if everyone in America who buys a fridge in 2008 buys an Energy Star model.
